History and practice have proved that road is the most fundamental problem. To go our own way is not only the theoretical and practical foothold of the Party, but also the historical conclusion drawn by the Party's century-long struggle. Socialism with Chinese characteristics is a fundamental achievement made by the Party and the people through untold hardships and at great cost. It is the right path and fundamental guarantee for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. We must unswervingly adhere to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firmly hold the destiny of China's development and progress in our own hands, and move unswervingly toward the second centenary Goal.

The Party's historical experience requires us to further strengthen the "four consciousness", strengthen the "four confidence", and achieve the "two safeguard". Over the past 100 years, the formation and establishment of a strong leadership core has been an important reason why our Party has been able to overcome difficulties and obstacles on its way forward time and again. It has provided a more complete institutional guarantee, a more solid material foundation, and a more proactive spirit for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. History and practice have proved that only with the authority of the CPC Central Committee can the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups in China be closely united and become an invincible force of such a big Party and country.
