Expanding industries with special characteristics is an effective measure to promote common prosperity and promote rural revitalization, and is of great significance to consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and enhancing the endogenous development impetus of areas and people living out of poverty. To develop characteristic industries according to local conditions, we must first base on characteristic resource advantages. In recent years, Yan 'an apple, Gannan navel orange, Anji white tea and other agricultural products with local characteristics have entered the fast track of industrialization and become the outstanding highlights of high-quality development of rural characteristic industries.

The significance and influence of expanding characteristic industries are not limited to agriculture and rural areas. The requirements of "accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system that reflects the characteristics and advantages of Inner Mongolia" put forward by the general secretary of AA provide important inspiration and follow for the layout of the modern industrial system.

China has the world's most complete and largest industrial system, "integrity" is a major advantage, resulting in a unique scope of economic effects. For example, in the face of the sudden COVID-19 epidemic, China has been able to significantly increase the production capacity of various anti-epidemic materials in a relatively short period of time to effectively meet the needs of epidemic prevention and control, and a complete range of industrial categories is a crucial factor.
